M38 Single Decal Snow Camo Paratrooper's Helmet,"Fallschirmjäger Stahlhelm M38"-
|
Sold |
|
Here is a very scarce M38 Single Decal Snow Camo Paratrooper's "Fallschirmjäger" Helmet.
This rare item shows battle damage to the front from shrapnel. To the front left is also marks from shrapnel splatter. This helmet
was recovered from a former battle position in Smolensk, Russia. The liner size is a E.T.68. The stamping is still partially legible in one of the pics.
The person who uncovered this helmet took it apart and cleaned it. They also used a leather treatment on 1/2 of the leather liner. The lid
does have one broken liner rivet. There are remains of the chinstraps. The leather is dried and stiff as to be expected. Very scarce
to find any M38 Single Decal Snow Camo Paratrooper's "Fallschirmjäger" Helmet. Scarce to have any snow camo helmet
